About AK Massage Therapy
AK Sports Massage has now become AK Massage Therapy; I changed the name in order to reflect the further training I’ve undertaken over the years, which enables me to not only offer sports and remedial massage and deep tissue massage, but also to incorporate myofascial release, lymphatic drainage massage and Indian head massage into my treatments.
Every treatment starts with a consultation and every massage is tailored to you. Depending on what the problem is, this may involve using a combination of the above techniques, as well as others such as trigger point therapy, soft tissue release, and PNF stretching, and it will be followed up with aftercare advice where necessary.
This method has helped me to treat not only sports people, but also anyone who is suffering from muscular pain and tension.
